Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities? We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Adelaide and the Central Coast in a part-time and casual capacity.
As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals with disabilities, providing them with essential support, encouragement, and companionship. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, fostering independence, and promoting social inclusion.

Skills and experience:
Preferred to have a Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support, disability, in home and community care or/and community services or working towards Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Exercise Physiology, Teaching or relevant study
Ideally 1 or more years of experience in the field
Understanding individual disability support care, community access & physical and mental wellbeing practises
Teamwork skills: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members
A positive attitude and highly customer service focused
Excellent communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to work with challenging behaviours
Highly motivated, resilient, persistent and patient.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in delivering goal orientated services that enables individuals to remain safe and independent in the community
Assist individual’s daily living circumstances and support them with transport where necessary
Assist individuals & empower them to make positive choices to support their physical and mental wellbeing
Assist individual’s in maintaining their self-esteem and confidence in a variety of environments
Deliver or support individuals to engage in sporting or community activities where possible
Requirements:
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children’s Check
Police Check
Driver’s License and Car Insurance
Access to Vehicle
Senior First Aid Certificate
